🪢 Leather Bracelet Using Rings

This bracelet uses 1.5 mm leather cord and metal rings (or bead frames) to create a chain‑like woven design. It looks intricate, but the technique is simple once you see it in action.

🧰 Supplies

• 1.5 mm leather cord — about 2 meters (≈ 6.6 feet)
  Leather cord on Amazon
• Metal bead frames (5 pieces)
  Bead frames on Amazon
• Zamak multi‑cord clasp
  Multi‑cord clasp on Amazon
• Strong jewelry glue (E6000 or similar)
• Scissors

🔹 Step 1 — Cut Your Leather

Cut 2 meters (6.6 ft) of 1.5 mm leather cord. If you’re using multiple colors, cut equal lengths of each and arrange them side‑by‑side.

🔹 Step 2 — Prepare Your Rings

Set out five metal rings or bead frames. These will act as the main decorative links of your bracelet.

🔹 Step 3 — Begin Threading the Leather

Fold your leather strands in half or align them neatly.

• Pass the leather through the center of the first ring.
• Pull until the ring sits at the midpoint of the strands.
• Keep the leather flat and untwisted.

🔹 Step 4 — Add the Remaining Rings

Continue threading the leather through each ring in the same direction.

• Insert leather through the next ring.
• Pull evenly so the spacing looks consistent.
• Flatten and arrange the strands as you go.

🔹 Step 5 — Check the Fit

Wrap the bracelet around your wrist to check the length.

• If it’s too short, loosen the leather slightly or add another ring.
• If it’s too long, tighten the leather or remove a ring.

🔹 Step 6 — Attach the Clasp

Use a multi‑cord clasp so all strands fit inside.

• Apply a small amount of strong jewelry glue inside one side of the clasp.
• Insert all leather ends at once and hold for a few seconds.
• Repeat on the other side of the bracelet.
