🪢 Leather Bracelet Using Rings

A bold, modern bracelet using leather cord and metal rings.

📘 Project Overview

This bracelet uses 1.5 mm leather cord and metal rings (or bead frames) to create a chain‑like woven design. It looks intricate, but the technique is simple once you see it in action.

🧰 Supplies

You can use one color of leather or mix colors for a more braided, dimensional look.

🔹 Step 1 — Cut Your Leather

Cut 2 meters (6.6 ft) of 1.5 mm leather cord. If you’re using multiple colors, cut equal lengths of each and arrange them side‑by‑side.

🔹 Step 2 — Prepare Your Rings

Set out five metal rings or bead frames. These will act as the main decorative links of your bracelet.

🔹 Step 3 — Begin Threading the Leather

Fold your leather strands in half or align them neatly.

🔹 Step 4 — Add the Remaining Rings

Continue threading the leather through each ring in the same direction.

This creates the chain‑like structure you see in the video.

🔹 Step 5 — Check the Fit

Wrap the bracelet around your wrist to check the length.

🔹 Step 6 — Attach the Clasp

Use a multi‑cord clasp so all strands fit inside.

Let the glue dry completely before wearing the bracelet so it stays secure.

🎉 Your Bracelet Is Ready!

This design is quick, stylish, and easy to customize with different leather colors or ring styles. It pairs beautifully with bead‑woven bracelets for a mixed‑texture stack.
